Now for some sci-fi stuff. My plan for the sci-fi plot is sitting at 5,000 words, whilst I haven’t covered all of what I call Year 1 (the plot spans over a 3 and a half year period) I’ve covered enough ground I’m starting to write in that headworld again meaning it’s time to start updating older characters involved in that plot. First up, Raven gets a much needed refresh, it was good to work with this toss pot again.

Raven's very much one of those where you either love him or hate him. With his abrasive wit and sarcastic sense of humor it's tough figuring out if Raven's being sassy motherfucker because he likes you or if he hates you and doesn't care if you know it.

I have a headcanon that Raven undercuts his hair because he was bored, decides he hates it but doesn’t bother growing it back because he thinks he looks even more of a tit than if he leaves it and puts effort into maintaining the undercut. He’s actually pretty insecure about his appearance so the undercut was a bold move for him and he was encouraged to keep it on those grounds.

The hoodie’s design is an imitation of his work uniform which I need to do a proper design for. I wanted to do a blue design because I feel that’d gel better with him but the rank stripes are colour coded by department and pilots/navigation officers are coded with gold so unfortunately it wouldn’t go with my canon.
