Profound piece.
I like how the profundity is increased through the black and white contrast and the way you've framed this... The lack of contrast makes it softer, sure, but part of me feels that it could have an increase in contrast to create more of an impact?
I feel as if you could have positioned the camera more to the right as well, but.. eh.
Maybe you could crop this into a square too?
Just a couple of thoughts.

as to your suggestions, i tried to up the contrast, but it took too much attention away from the softness of his tiny hand and made it too harsh, thank you tho, that was a good idea. and i'll see what happens if i crop it, if it looks better you'll be seeing here!
