i love the visionary beasts that come out of guillermo del toro's mind -- he's a brilliant designer/director. was a lot more FX packed than the first one -- kinda "men in black" style. not as dark as the first one either; i missed that. but, it was still a lot of fun, and stunning CG animation/design with the creatures & the golden army!
