My beloved Hermea, again.
Here she is intent on a scrupulous and discreet surveillance of her forests. Loving and inflexible, so patient as timely as required. I opted for a peaceful setting to convey the standstill of waiting.

Beautiful illustration. You have done a great job conveying the atmosphere and a sense of waiting. Nice touch with the feathers (especially on the bowstring) and use of color. She is nearly camouflage save for the few strips of red clothe. I would only wish that you had gone with the neo-traditional leaf shaped/themed armor that We often see elves depicted in. This only because you have already done such a magnificent job and I know that you have the skill to hide her silhouette save for a few traces of her form hinted by light, that would be ethereal. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, the background is very bright ... and the figure in the foreground in the real world would have been almost black. However, a little for "artistic license" and a bit to give a surreal atmosphere, I cheated on the lights of the protagonist

You don't need to make it radically black but it would be more balanced with more tone difference in my opinion is all. No big deal though, nice work

Elves in trees! Something that makes me purr in joy.
I like the feathers in her outfit but am not sure about all the metal parts, the armor makes her look more civilized and less wild and "forestish". Though the armor for itself looks beautiful.

Thanks for the appreciation and comment! It's not at all wrong: Hermea lives in the thick but she is no stranger to the more civilized. She is a kind of general and most of all she is obliged to relate with high environments to live alliances. Her armor is, however, 90% of light leather, the best material to move easily and quickly.

In fact, the tree in the foreground has required patience, but the Hermea's armor and empennage had neither requested less!

Thank you! If I wanted to be categorical, his equipment would have provided only green and brown tones (like the good ranger who she is), but being this drawing not intended for a manual, I introduced some red details to keep alive the color range

La colorazione la adoro. Lei è bellissima. I tratti del viso sono marcati (mi spiego... nel senso che, non ha il nasino alla francese piccino piccino) ma estremamente femminili (spero di essermi spiegata -.-'). Ha un espressione serena ed amorevole. Non conosco questo tuo personaggio, nel senso che, non so se lo hai già ritratto e hai spiegato qualche cosa su di lei e sul suo carattere... ma sembra una 'tosta' XD
Ora mi fermo perchè tanto si è capito che amo tutti i particolari XD complimentiii!

Ed ammetto che il tuo commento mi colpisce molto: citare in causa i suoi lineamenti, una parte di lei che effettivamente cerco sempre di non far apparire troppo scontata badando di non sminuirne la femminilità (il nasino alla francese è una caratteristica contro cui mi batto strenuamente XD) è qualcosa che mi sta effettivamente a cuore. Credo che i connotati marcati combinati a forme gentili siano un buon mezzo di trasmissione per un personaggio che, come Hermea vuole essere, ha in superficie la corazza del suo potenziale letale e nell'intimo tutto ciò che per una donna è istinto.
