I would never become one of them
Ever again.
But god how I miss those days,
Back when βbeing coolβ
And fitting in,
Was the thing to do.
Oh how I miss those days,
Back when life was so much simpler.
Worry free.
Life was so much easier,
Before our feet touched the floor.
What happened to those days?
It used to be no matter what,
Nothing ever went wrong.
This world makes us grow-up too fast,
We lose all that we should have had.
Maybe someday we will all learn,
Maybe someday our children will grow-up,
Laughing their sorrows forever away.

I agree. But, I'm an odd one. I still hold my childhood close, taking a stuffed animal with me every day. Her names Delilah. And I haven't changed one of my opinions since I was little. Being an intelligent child helps with that.
