wanted a redesign of their Gem’s corrupt form . Since I love doing such things, I offered to do a concept.
Gem: Sunstone
- Capable of breathing fire
- Body temperature is very high
- Mane of fire; gets bigger when angry
- Hydra ability: if one head is severed, two more grow in its place
- Faint glow between belly scales (think Smaug before he breathes fire); gets brighter before using firebreath
- Snakelike mouth lets tongue flick out when closed
- Fangs fold against roof of mouth when not in use
- Teeth are translucent black
Bottom right doodle not colored because I’m a lazy fuck.

The only form of question I have is can I lighten the red to an medium orange, or something in that range? I want to keep it close to the color of his gem if I can?
