Well, now everyone know what happened several days ago in France.

Didn't wanted first to post this one in my gallery, just to share on my social medias. But, I think DA is a good place for liberty and freedom speech too.

I am not Charlie, I am everyone, I support all those who were affected by this drama, illustrators (to whom obviously it's easier to me to identify me), the staff, the policemen, families, members of a religious order and more...

Expression freedoms remains essential to my eyes, for writtings, drawings, gestures, acts.
This event hitted symbolically in it, more than beyond the committed drawings it's also for those who are going to undergo amalgams with their faiths that I feels pain.

We should not pay the blood's sacrifice when we have for only weapon a pencil, we should not die for satyric ideas.

No I am not hypocritical in my approach, even if I did not appreciate the humor of Charlie Hebdo most of the time, I cannot agree has such an act. I am an artist committed to give onirism and dreams to people, it's my freedom of expression and I shall never wish such a thing to nobody.
To use a religious fanaticism to cover for such acts, it is to spit at the freedom of expression of the cults, even if I am agnostic, I shall not wish that my cult is mixed with such an inhumanity.

I just summarize my feelings with this illustration, I put a lot oh myself in it, but I wanted to contribute has my way, as I could not participate at the commemorations in streets.

Sorry if you saw so much "Je suis Charlie" since several days, but as a french illustrator I wanted to participate to it, because I was really touched by it. And all events which are happening actually there...
