This is an impossibly lovely piece that struck me at once. I can't express the feeling of tenderness I get from this; there is just something so singular in its prettiness and delicacy! I have never written critique, and it is a rare sight to see me giving good comments because I am one hell of a tough customer, but here I am now because I have some strange attachment to watercolours and animals in abstract.
Execution, composition, everything is perfect and there is no wrong to be pointed out anywhere except perhaps for the splat of red on the top right of the painting. It feels as though some otherwise impeccable balance is being thrown off by it... but I am just nitpicking, it is not enough to lower very much the overall quality of your work.
Perhaps I am extremely biased in your favour generally because let's face it, you are hands down one of the most capable watercolour users on dA, but this is not why I gave you 5 stars on everything (minus vision for the splat up there). This piece really does deserve all the good things, congratulations on having such a wonderful mind.
