You call this messy? = 3 = I'd kill for those lines! And the shading too, definitely nailed how it flows with the flows of the clothes. And can't stop staring at Zen's hair, dayum The background is a bit... eh = v = ;;; The blobby shape doesn't really add much, but then again it doesn't distract much either, so it's not a huge issue. The only "messy" thing I can see is the feather on his head, but even then it's not a huge issue.

They somehow look cute together ^w^ the level of details and the motive itself are marvelous~ especially the litte heart above his head ;D but i think you could have chosen a bit darker color for the back ground because you used a lot of bright colors and with a darker background its easier to see the whole little details :3
