Bowdino inspired me to design a griffin character after I fell in love with one of her designs (one for this adopt thing >Adopts Auction OPEN )And I decided I wanted it to be a swallow because they are my favourite birds. When I walk to school there are usually heaps of swallow on a cricket field i walk across and they will fly really close to you and seem to make patterns in the air. I also remember in primary school, on the field, we would chase the swallows and it's almost like they would play with us.
So basically it's a swallow crossed with a blue merle (dog). Is that still a griffin?? i think so.
Well this is just a test design cause I'm not sure if i should change his tail. cause it's a little busy back there with both the dog tail and bird tail.
also the wings seem a little confusing

that drawing in the top left corner THE BEAK TOook me like half the time it took to draw the rest of the drawing.
i really like this character though. it is very fun to draw and i adore winged characterssssss

Maybe you could merge the dog/bird tail in a way?
like it's the dog tail but instead of the feathers on top of it it's just got those two sparrow strands flying out?
personally though I don't think it's too complicated 8'D I think it looks great!

technically a griffin is a lion and an eagle but whose being technical when IT'S FREAKIN ADORABLE!!!!
