One of the lullaby songs that Dusk's mother sang to him when he was a child every time he had trouble sleeping.
Dusk was born with a chemical imbalance in his brain that makes it harder for him to sleep (insomnia in other words).
Dainty (his mother) practically sang this to Dusk everyday, and when Dusk was old enough to speak, he would sing with her.
At one point, his dad left them. Leaving Dainty and her son alone. Dainty eventually lost her sanity and began blaming Dusk for all of her problems.
She took her anger out on Dusk in a physically violent way.
So, of course, she stopped singing to him.
As soon as she stopped, he began singing the same song to himself every night for as long as he lived.
He loved his mother, but he never was angry at her nor blamed her...no matter what she did to him, he loved her.
All his anger went directed towards his dad who had left.
