Description Have you ever played a video game years ago, remembered a line, and years later, you got and played a video game based on the line and character, and FUCKED IT UP ROYALLY? Well, this is one of the cases.

In Final Fantasy II (the North American re-releases), that when Emperor Mateus, in his Hell Mode, after being defeated by the heroes of the game, one of the things he said, before his "UBOAR!"/"UBOAA!"/"UNGAH!" [you choose. Any of these are acceptable], he said to the heroes “How could I lose...not once but twice? Who ARE you?”. Well, those words are said in Dissidia: Final Fantasy at Shade Impulse, final part of Chapter 2. BUT... the huge thing is, that in Dissidia, he was defeated at least FOUR TIMES. So, this example here is a very poor execution/placing of a quote.

OK, my nerd time's over...

So out of all the things they fucked up in Dissidia, this is the one you're nerd raging against?
Lol, kidding. I'm going to agree with Alexlayer on this; I think he's talking about his final defeats in Destiny Odyssey and Shade Impulse.
Still, an amusing dismotivational poster, though I'd apply it to the entire game instead of just this line.

Well, it is one of those things that is "huh?" because what if Warrior of Light, Firion, and Tidus are together, and when The Emperor said that, the three would say along the lines of "Dude, _____ [insert either of the three], ______ [same thing], and I kicked your ass earlier. Your math's messed up..."
[On a special note of Tidus, Tidus would say that "On top of that, it looks like my dad whooped you at the Moon (Lunar Subtarrane... which is inside the crystal castle, not on the moon on FFIV. )..."]
No worries, I have other WTFs about Dissidia as well. The one I did is just one of them. Storyline wise, Dissidia is a "big soup", with a little bit of "other soups", mixed together, add in a few new "ingredients", half-cook it, and serve it to the masses.

Fighting wise is not bad, but it can be a bit spammy with some characters. @_@

I was about to reply to Alexlayer earlier today, but the computer crashed.

As if any of them could do the math involved.
Yeah, the Lunar Subterrane gets to me too; but definition a subterrane is UNDER GROUND.
That, my friend, is an awesome analogy. And also completely accurate. *sigh*
So, are you saying there'll be more of these? Because I know I'd be totally okay with that

OK, I just realize something... I fucked up on the place where Jecht and Emperor Mateus fought. They fought at the "World of Darkness" of FFIII. I sincerely apologize on that goof. I must have FFIV on my brain, since it is my favourite Final Fantasy.

I'm very, very, very sorry on the mistake.

Lol, it's not really that big a deal. I completely understand having FFIV on the brain XD
I wasn't that bothered by the giant hole in Pandemonium, since it's the sort of jerky think I can see the Emperor doing. Same with the spikes.
This as a one-shot works just as well. It's just that there are tons 'nostalgic' moments to complain about in Dissidia, and you seem to have a list
And nothing's more fun than complaining. XD

You're right. Well, I cannot complain about the Omega versions of the stages. Pandemonium's my favourite of all. The spiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikes. |D

Have you read the character files of Dissidia? If you read about Chaos, that it says of the 'debut' is Dissidia. Meanwhile it is incorrect. On a technical note that Chaos is debuted in the FIRST Final Fantasy game. Heck, Chaos' Utter Chaos technique appearance is based of the FFI Chaos. Also, concerning Chaos' 'normal' appearance, a lot of the elements on him is based on the FFI Chaos anyway. So, it's damn silly.

I admit I haven't read the character files. Mainly because I got bored.
So they said Dissidia was supposed to be the first in the series? That makes no sense. FFI would be the easiest to work with, since it's got that whole time cycle thing that never really made sense anyhow. But the characters seemed to assume that FFIV and FFVII at least had occurred, as well as a good part of FFIII, FFV, FFVIII, and FFIX.
Silly Squeenix, did you seriously think you could pull that over on your fanatical fans? Really now.

Yeah really. When you get really bored, read the profiles and such.

Ooooo.... I have no liiiiife....

I was initially doing this as a one-shot. Do you think I should do more of these?

If you played Final Fantasy II... there is not a big-ass hole at Pandemonium. Along other Pandemonium related errors. And yet this "world" at Dissidia apparently is made of shards of other worlds... hmm...

I don't think he considers his "defeats" against Warrior of Light and Tidus as losing the fights. He looks pretty much alright by the end of those and he simply teleports away after having "entertained himself" with the Warriors of Cosmos. Only against Firion we see him on his knees by the end, and fading in a different way.
