        There was a mysterious tapping at the window, and a sudden silence fell over the the four people sitting by the fireplace. It was as if a cold chill had invaded the warmly lit room to remind them of the threatening storm and dark outside.
        The two brothers and their wives had been talking of Adrian Hopewell, although they did not speak of him often, for they had little enough to say. He simply walkedaway two years ago, leavong a cryptic note.

         "I will be back when I am ready. I hope I have experinced forgivness by then,"

         Adrian Hopewell was a handsome lie. He had messy, red hair, and no matter what he did, would not stay neat. His hazel eyes glistened when he spoke, one more lie being told. Although, everyone would remain clueless as he would speak, and thet would linger on to his every word, as if their lives depended on it. His best friends, William and Bill, and their wives, Helena and Gweneth, were the only ones who could see through his fasade. He would spew tall-tales, like a broken top, of which, the water would not stop.

        Telling lies, though, was not his only problem. Hidden in his web of lies was someone more disturbed then Adrian led people to belive. Adrian came from a disturbed and horrific child. He live with his brother, William had thought. This of course, was another lie to cover the horrific truth. To be honest, William and Bill did not know what to belive. They did not trust Adrian, which led to his sudden dissapearence.
