So.... this is the character that people said I ripped off? What a load of croc shit. Not only did I design mine yeeeeeeeears ago, but at least my "Saphira" (Emerald, the ACTUAL name of the fake/rumored character) was more than just a simple color swap.

For me the character is well, at least has his armament as his shield, his bow and arrows, his sword. It stands out, it's not a simple re-edit of Kitana. I like it, I just design the two sprites so that it is more "characterized"
One question, did you make this character or who?

I don't know who made Saphira. I only know of Emerald, who was an actual rumored character back in the 90s, which I and a few other artists decided to "bring to life" in our fake pictures a few times. Then, when this Mugen thing started to get real popular, I made a few concept animations for a new look and moves... and now apparently in the late 2000s, some one created a rip-off of Emerald named Saphira... but ignorance it seems created the false pretense of Emerald being the rip-off. To make a long story short, Emerald exited first. Saphira came later... waaaaay later.

Oh I understand, if the truth I'm not convinced re-edited characters like cybers, copies of cyrax and sektor as
"Leviathan", "acid", "cyber noob saibot", "monnitor", and so on. Those are the ones that have tired me the most, they are the same as always, only they change the name, the color palette and a few powers. Anyway..
