I've been working on this very slowly over the past week or two because I have been busy at work and trying to really improve. My line art is getting better but notably, my faces and hair are improving. I think using my small tablet for portraits only has really paid off. What do you guys think? This is Mira in her latest costume, holding her two sabers, ready to throw down. You can see the Skyrim influence on her but she's still very Russian, very Varangian. Also, take note of her belt buckle. If anyone can tell me what that's from, I will be very impressed.

Oh and I used my new Staedtler black graphite pencil for the fur. What do you think? Should I use the black graphite for shadows also? Was thinking it might be too strong but it might be decent to show like, the lower parts of the shadow but again, the contrast may be too extreme. I may go back and add one of her scabbards but like, if Mira is really about to throw down, I can easily see her tossing them to the side since she's already got a lot to lug around lol.
