Description This may be the most generic title I have ever done, but I couldn't think of anything poetic or more fitting. Anyways, what is unique about this drawing is I used odorless mineral spirits extensively for the blending of the waxes. Her skin blended infinitely better than her shirt did. Her tan pants also blended quite well. Her hair is actually black India ink with a little white colored pencil applied over for some minor shine. I think it worked out real well. Also, the shadows and rosiness of her cheeks blended VERY well. Her pink cheeks aren't dominating her facial features, nor are they invisible. I used a reference pic for the pose, then added my own stuff to it. I tried a different facial expression and her right hand is rather unique. Though I must confess that there should probably be more lighting in this piece. Half way through it, I realized the method for lighting I was using was not strong enough, so I switched. The better lighting can be seen on her right side, mainly her her right arm, leg, and belly. Anyways, I just wanted to get some simple practice in with the odorless mineral spirits.

The simple stance and outfit is really sexy in a down to earth fashion.
