I was slated to do a DABEL Bros book, but had to turn it down due to other commitments.These were MERCY THOMPSON sample pages that got me the gig that never was.

Nice job friend. I've only started reading the stories myself as well. I think your art pretty much captures Mercy, but you added a little more sexual look to it. You think you can do another one? This time, have her in a more subtle transformation like in the stories?

Great work, but this does not capture Mercy. I am sorry to say Mercy is more tomboy sexy, and has a more athletic build. she is a walker not a werewolf and she does not go through the same painful change as the werewolves does. She is also half native american(blackfoot) and your illustration does not look native america.
I am a big reader and this is one of my favorite series, and it really bugs me when the cover illustration of a book does not correctly depict the characters i the books!
Check out Dan Dos Santos website he capture Mercy really well.

Yes, this looks more Megan Fox native (whom I despise as a representation of the mixed native race because she cut her beautiful nose off). Only a man would put Mercy in a thong. *shudder*

Mm, personally not how I picture Mercy, as she's never depicted as such a "sex kitten" in the books, but I like the details; the clothing and the craggy rocks look great.
