Cute, I like the composition, the palette, the atmosphere, and how into each other they seem.

Your work continues to impress.  I don't watch Walking Dead myself, but I've read some of the graphic novels.  Your ability to convey emotion through your linework and the palette and medium you choose to present makes your work fantastic.

Ah - you are far too kind to me! Thank you for your kind words, I love to do linework but I know that sort of thing isn't as popular as the work by fanartists who can paint. It really means a lot, and you taking the time to tell me is very much appreciated. Funnily enough, I don't watch it either, but I'm doing a series of illustrations (the 'kiss meme') with pairings chosen by my tumblr followers as a sort of thank you for all their support.

The most dangerous word in an artist's vocabulary is, perhaps, "popular."  Speaking for myself, although I enjoy the painting and digital airbrush of artists like, say, Sakimichan, my personal preference has always been for illustrative linework.  Whatever medium you're most passionate about, that's your medium.  If you love it, do it-- as someone who is always trying to figure out "what sells, what do people WANT?" for my table at conventions, I have found that trends come and go, and there's no use trying to create for anyone other than yourself.

Yes, you are right! Since I engage most frequently through tumblr, I have noticed that certain types of work gets more notes than others. It's important to create for yourself, but sometimes balancing that with creating for your audience, you can broaden your exposure especially on tumblr. The key I think is to keep your muse happy

Amen to that; feed your muse and she won't starve!
