Yeah they really can, which is why platforms are so crucial for some costumes, and why we always have to discuss as a group who's wearing what shoes beforehand. o.< Hah, thanks, I was actually pretty stable up there, it just got difficult to hold for as long as she needed me to pose. Haha dude I can't imagine why. People are too sensitive sometimes. If there's a mistake, it's better to have at least one person point it out so you can fix it or know better next time.
