Description
Various notes, collected and done over a few days, from different scraps of paper put into one sheet.Basically, observations of constructions guidelines, trying to work out how these characters work. These are my observations, and should NOT be taken as official notes for these characters.
Plus, a few extra notes for people watching this, to think about volumes, proportions, perspective when drawing. I didn't clean these sketches much, wanting to show most of the rough lines underneath to show structure.
Plus a little doodle added in the bottom left corner. How I would love to tell Iroh's story (if I knew what it was).
Col erase (blue and Tuscan red), plus HB pencils.
Except for Thutmoses up there on the right (mine!), all the other characters belong to Mike, Brian, Nickelodeon, Viacom. If I forgot someone, let me know and I'll add you up.

sokka's plan looks like kyten off red dwarf

This is a great reference, I drew Toph with a 5-head canon and then had trouble with making her height different from Aang's, this sure solves that issue. Now I'm going to try to draw Sokka, I had no idea where to begin before I saw your sketch.

Wow thats some good referance. I always had trouble with Sokka's especially, when I turned him in to a mershark in Avatar mythic series. His head was a bit of engima. I'm planning to draconify he and Zhao today (or soon) So this is good ref Rufftoon

Thutmoses is actually a character appearing in my mini comic. Oups, no real pages of that posted in my gallery, except one called Boy Kings (or something like that)

well you know...if anyone has a chance to find out a little bit about Iroh's backstory....it'd be you!
anyways, I'm really enjoying your sketches. They make me want to improve, and help remind me that I need to just relax and enjoy my art, and not worry so much about getting everything exact, but caring more about the emotion that the drawing carries.
