A little something that I wanted to do that I put off for a while. Now, I finally finished it ^_^ It was supposed to be a looping animation of the mane 6 riding a bus to who-knows-where. Probably an alternate dimension where everything is like the 1930s.Related content

The reflections are wonderful, love the range of expressions, and the clothing--for lack of a better word--suits them perfectly, I feel.
Basically, this is a quintessential representation of each of their personalities, and it is a joy to just sit back and soak in every detail of this piece.
I was a bit confused for a bit and the ensemble Rainbow has, but since you mentioned the 30s, that decision makes much more sense. I mean Flappers were a thing in the 30s right? I believe that was relevant in the 20s, but I am not so certain how long that fad lasted. XD

Thanks ^_^ Yeah, it's somewhere within that time era. I wanted to paint something a little bit old. It's kinda like MLP's timeline which is kind of mixed. They have some wooden structures and houses but then you have Manehattan with tall concrete buildings but in Ponyville, it's definitely a medieval theme.

It's amazing how in-character you have made them while giving every one a little something more... like Fluttershy, in this dapper outfit of hers, playing chess with Spike. For some reason, I am very fond of that.

Indeed, but still, sometimes, you see MLP illustrations that are very remote from the original show, sometimes to such an extent that it would have made more sense to draw entirely new characters instead of MLP ones.

Yeah, I see some of those and I hate it when they go off model. It's really irritating. At least with new characters they have the creative freedom to do whatever they wanted instead of breaking the already existing characters.
