Description
Here's something new: Ervin not dancing or wearing an MJ related outfit for once.
Anyway, this is a little gift for a girl I met on the beach. I promised her a pic sometime ago and I finally found some time to do one. This really took a long time to finish...
I've used several tutorials and observed some of my favorite artists around so I picked up a few new skills.

Ah. I'd assume that a lot of the lines used for the background were made with a one pixel brush.

Hm, interesting.
The highlights are some of your best standout elements within this composition, as you've always been strong with working with layers to add extra depth to the scenery. What's more impressive is the fact you put so much effort not just into the two main subjects but also into the background which says a lot about your work ethic and making things as polished as they possible can be. Beautiful details galore throughout this picture, and needless to say I think you two go together rather well too.

Hahah, this one jumped out at me the moment I saw it in my Message area of DA. The rainbow beach ball was the first item that caught me, and then I noticed the smoothness of the characters and the fun that the two of them were having. Add in a lovely background complimented by bright and warm colors, and you have a piece that's fun to see!
I've a feeling that the girl you met will love this very much.
