Japan and China fucking hate each other, have you even read up on the history?
I have, and if you'd read the history you'd know that. Check out Unit 731[takes place during the second sino-Japanese war]. Or perhaps the rape of Nanking? That is not love or fluffy feelings.
There are so many more rival character shippings you could support and it would actually make sense.
But in any case China would always think of Japan as a younger brother. He even says so in the manga and/or anime. Brothers don't refer to them warmly like that[this was before the whole human expirementation thing] and want them in bed.
