Good morning fellow deviants. You ready to close out this week on a high note? Then have I got a treat for you guys. I give you my latest creation: Bluebyrd. Backstory: Sally Avril had been dead for years. Recently returned from the dead and mentally detoxed, she struggled to find her place in this new, modern world. Thankfully, she found it as the newest member of the Fantastic Four. More specifically, as the Human Torch’s girlfriend.

This drawing took me weeks to put together. I based her stance off of Patrick Brown’s artwork on Instagram and the color scheme from that old show Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes. My proudest moment was when I cracked the color code and created the ideal shade of blue for her uniform. That was a good night for me.

Her powers include: flight, basic acrobatics, and a surprisingly amount of batgirl-esque gadgets. The reason I made her Johnny’s girlfriend is because he could use a break. Plus in the comics, Sally’s an adventurous party girl, more or less hates commitment, would say yes to just about anything Johnny could throw at her, etc. So I figured those two would make a great couple.
