Yeah I just saw the show recently and I thought it was adorable. It's original concept peaked my interest. I'm pretty much trying to do my own reboot version based on that version but,a little more different. Not too edgy or too silly,but,the right amount where things should go.

I have quite alot of stuff figured out,sorta,I mean It's only been a month but,It's not bad for what I've got so far and have planned out.

Plot,character development,settings and backstory with some lore building on the side. I may even use Doom Map Builder 2 to construct my own version of the layout of Hell/Miseryville and see where things go and plot points will be to make storyboarding a bit easier. I've already downloaded as many tutorial vids to figure out how to build the map or maps necessary.

Not sure how I wanna add detail of fog or other details to the hell landscape or something if I could ever get background animators or something. I wanted to base It's new design off of Dantes Inferno,Greeks River of Styx and Paradise Lost paintings to demonstrate this grim environment and truly give off a Jimmy doesn't belong here vibe. 

Plus,I think this would be a good starting quote before the show starts. Technically Jimmy does make heaven out of hell and tries to spread goodwill. So it would fit him as much as it did Lucifer,only the opposite.

Yeah I would base it a bit off the game and a little from the literature as well. The only thing here from the game (except not at the end like the game),is Lucifer would already have escaped and shed his giant body like a "treacherous" snake and appear as the little Lucy we see him as in the show.

It would be told in a backstory involving a giant demon sealed underneath their moon who is hooked to tech,merged flesh with the moon and having his energy harnessed to power the city below somehow.(still need to work the details) The episode would be titled,"One Small Step Towards Terror".



Pretty much his design would scream agonizing suffering but,silent (like literally voice gone),sanity gone,and hopeless due to what his original role and construction of Miseryville would be like if it weren't for Lucifers betrayal (which was expected,but he gave his ass a chance) but,he made the remaining fallen angels of the time who escaped being eternally doomed to the frozen lake of Cocytus turn against and question Deimos's leadership and turned the vengeful new leader of the fallen angels after pointing out Lucifers failure,become doubted not just of their goal to build a kingdom or civilization to build their numbers and fight back heaven but,pretty much start a civil war in hell.

Deimos had the power to conjure material for architectural purposes,he was heavens original constructor,who foolishly let his work and arrogance blind him to following Lucifer which condemned them,he even expands Hells small Island on the lake of fire or upper surface of it,he had helped also try to colonize the empty 8 circles for future generations of their kind.

In the original concept,Lucifer was supposed to have reality bending powers,but,proved he could rule without it. I wanted him to take those powers from Deimos while he still had some flesh,the flesh would decay with each drain and harness and would sadly never repair,but,his organs and vitals signs would still be active and suffering to the day when the 3 protagonists find him. Only,Heloise would be sadistically pleased,Beezy would be traumatized and questioning things,and Jimmy would optimistically think that's pretty cool what they witnessed.

They would understand him from a demonic books spell Heloise casts upon them to understand what he's thinking but,translated to english for the ears of man. I wanted his voice to be that of sovereign from mass effect. Only demonic,not robotic.

Jimmy would learn from him that,being kind to others,saving them,being a leader,is not worth it. saying,"the moment you choose to be their savior,expose yourself to weakness,they will seek an opportunity to cannibalize you". Pretty much in a more better dialogue way tell Jimmy that it's ultimately pointless to help others or change them. He looks at him and tries to say,"but,I'm sure it was all a misunderstanding..." "No.....it wasn't." "Now...leave me..." Jimmy has a sad and almost defeated expression on his face as he turns away and clenches his fist and looks back a bit with a determined expression that says,"It doesn't have to be this way". And lead to a conversation between Heloise and Jimmy debating over when you try to "play nice" you just get backstabbed in return.

I wanted Jimmy to have some episodes that conflict his moral compass and his way of bringing happiness and change to everyone

I wanted Heloise in this version to start off bitter and resentful of Jimmy when he first arrives,and think he's kind of creepy or annoying being so optimistic wondering "What's he in for?" thinking he's pulling a choir boy act. Even sets him up to just get in deep sh*t with Lucifer in his building only to force Lucifer to give the house he was gonna give to Jez,to Jimmy thinking he would probably hate being in a girly looking house.

Heloise would kinda be on house arrest but,obviously sneaks out when she met Jimmy on the boat,she's pretty much under house arrest and is forbidden from kidnapping and torturing any damned souls,cause the whole point is everyone whether demon or damned must be miserable. He makes a deal with Heloise to torture Jimmy and if she succeeds in her task,she'll be lifted from her imprisonment and tracker (still need to work out the details on that) since there would be cameras and eyes everywhere where he keeps an eye on things.


But,as she tries to torture him,she starts to feel insulted,then starts having sudden racing beating heart beats giving off the sign that she may be developing a small crush,she's supposed to be an unrepentant,relentless and cruel human being where she never cared for anyone before,but,this would be the start of her character development and psychological exploration of her behavior throughout the series.

Which I still need to make a chart for those details. She originally in the show was supposed to switch back and forth on loving and hating Jimmy for comedic effect,but,I thought slow and natural might be best and we'll cross that road eventually or find a way to tweak it.

I did have a way to get her out of that jam,but,I'll explain it when I have it ready or when I can,I wanna make sure it sounds right.

There's 3 seasons I have mapped out for what they'll focus on and 3 endings for this version.

Season 1,the damned.
Season 2,the demons.
Season 3,the rich representatives that control the seven circles and represent the seven sins and may possibly (still deciding on it) the children of Lucifer.
