Aitran is a fanfic based on the game Myst -> [link] There's also a sequel fic called Sohndar based on Riven. I personally greatly enjoyed these stories, and am eagerly awaiting the third installment!

Yes, I found it. I liked Myst, but only when I played RealMyst. I hate the whole "move around in static images" thing. I find it disorienting and I feel it makes the puzzles harder than they should be.
I did play Uru online and got the first four worlds.
But I'm reading the books as well, so I may take a look into it later on.

RealMyst was a beautiful game. The fifth and final Myst game was alright, I was just disappointed with the ending and the removal of live action actors. I miss these kinds of games that caused me to think deeply on the puzzles and take notes on the side.
