In a straight up fight I think Lobo would have the advantage but it would be close.
I think a better contest between these two would be a drinking contest (they were both shown to be drinkers before comics could show that a lot). My money would be on Wolverine in that case as his healing factor affects toxin and I don't think Lobo's does to the same extent (he has been defeated by getting him too drunk in the past)

Deadpool or Thanos would actually be a better choices than Wolverine. Wolverine vs Lobo is one of those kind of match ups that look good on paper but doesn't really measure up in real fight.

Not only can Lobo not be killed (having been rejected from both Heaven and Hell and being the last surviving Czarnian, a race that can only be killed by other members of the race), but his strength, speed, and durability allow him to fight foes like Superman, MM, and Darkseid putting him well above Wolverine. Add in the fact that he can regenerate from a single drop of blood, and you have one dead Canuck with a metal skeleton.

Lobo absolutely wrecks Wolverine. The only reason he lost in the Marvel vs DC crossover in the 90's is because fan votes always go to the more popular character. Seeing as Lobo can only be killed by another Czarnian, and he's killed them all, he is functionally immortal.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows who the obvious winner is. (Yes, I know the DC vs. Marvel fight, but that was fan-voted and it was terrible writing, realisticly, Lobo would massacre Wolverine)
I mean come on, this is Lobo, we're talking about a guy who can go toe-to-toe with Superman and trade punches with him, not to mention, can destroy planets by merely punching them.

Dude, Lobo's regen puts Wolverine's to shame soooooooo bad, it's so broken, that Lobo is capable of regenerating from just a single drop of blood.
The best Wolverine has healed from was being reduced to a skeleton.
Drop of Blood>Skeleton. Pretty obvious.
