I saw one of these at a used furniture store the other day, so I thought I would try my hand at fashioning one. I may have to tweak it a bit.... the stand is too high, the shell too thick....la, la, la, et cetera

The one I saw was white. The black one is styled after No. 2's - but I'd really need to take another look at the original to get it close...
