Very pretty piece of art. I just wish people would stop breeding these beautiful dogs and make them to look like frogs. The back should not slope down so much, it is unhealthy.

Showline GSD´s, even working lines, can be placed or stand by themselves to have a sloping topline, but the topline should always remain straight. A curved or roached topline is a fault according to the AKC standard.'
This dog drawn, has a straight topline, but it´s sloping because of the stack. If she stood naturally, four squared, she would have a leveled topline. She -must- trot with a leveled topline, as trotting with a sloping topline is an indication of weak ligaments and over-angulation. She should also not have her hocks or pasterns flat on the ground.
