Chex slept all day hoping to have to night to himself in the kitchen to read those cook books Alma had. Sadly he couldn't find them tonight, so he decided to wonder through the nook now that it's quiet. On his walk, he spotted a green wyngling reaching up to look out a window.
Chex didn't realize he was staring until the gro looked back at him. Embarrassed, a light shade of pink ran across Chex's face. There was an awkward air in the room, and Chex didn't want seem like a weirdo and run. He decided to go try to have a conversation.
"H-hi, I'm Chemex, but gros call me Chex. Who are you?"
"Hugo."
"So,What are you doing up so late?"
"I could ask you the same thing."
Chex was silent again 'Oh Chii, I made this more awkward didn't I?'
Hugo got down from the window and sat down "I just had trouble sleeping, it's normal."
"O-oh." Chex looked up at the window "You know, the windows up stairs have a better view if you wanna see." Chex led Hugo to the next floor to one of the window seats. They peacefully looked at the snowfall outside, the awkward tension Chex felt seemed to disappear. Chex was about to say something when he noticed Hugo had fallen asleep. He looked out the window and thought 'This was nice, maybe I should talk to more gros.'
