Soon after Boog brought that egg home Camden began to worry that Boog didn't know how to raise a child. So, that next day Camden bought books meant to help new parents and dropped them in front of Boog when he got home.
Boog: I don't see why you're making me read these, I've taken care of wynglings before.
Camden: First, ya basically kidnapped 'em, and you treat them as friends and not as yer kids.
Boog: Fine fine, I'll read them
Boog picks up a book, flips it to a random page, and starts to read. He soon realized that it was one of Camden's books on magic, but noticed something interesting before putting the book back down.
Boog: Wait, did you know earth magic can make plants grow faster?
Camden: Yep
Boog: Why didn't you tell me! We could o- Huh?
That's when Boog noticed the egg started to shake!

Basically, Boog's gonna learn some magic soon and the egg's about to hatch.
