“I guess the secret’s out. They’re going to want to know everything about the alien and the cylinder..”

“There was this science fiction story about someone from a future time who came back and told about all of these wonderful things. The problem was he had no idea how any of them worked. There wasn’t enough to give scientists and engineers a clue. In the end he was dismissed as a story telling fraud…” he said.

“Yeah.. but we’ve got evidence we’re not frauds.” the giant girl said. “Are you going to come out now?” Her face was about seventy feet from his, but she brought her finger over as if she was trying to get a better sense of how big he was. He tried not to notice the enormous digit suspended overhead.

“I haven’t had enough time to think about it..”

“I think I have to come clean about everything..” Even though he was tiny, she could see him slump his shoulders. “Don’t worry.. we can be a team. I don’t think there’s much they can do to me.”

“Don’t be so sure - what about those whales they keep in aquariums?”

“Mari broke in “Wait right there you two” she waited to get their attention.

He turned in her palm to look at the other giant. Odd, he thought, she didn’t seem anywhere near as huge as she did before he saw Tanya.

“Tanya .. people will see you as a beautiful giant. You’ll be all over TV. Oprah and everyone else will want to interview you. Fame will protect you.” She looked down at him “and Austin. You’re just as amazing. And the story… the story binds the two of you in some fantasy. You both need an agent. Hire me. I’ll take ten percent. If you want to fire me later that’s fine, but you need something when our private time’s up.” she paused and looked up at Tanya “Are you in?” Tanya nodded. Then she looked down at Austin “and you?”
