you know, looking bakc on this piece again i have a much deeper appreciation for it...not sure why. I suppose just being gay myself and on the threshold of a new life at my university is making look in retrospect to everything. like i said before your colors are sure as hell amazing, and the hair....never noticed it before but my god thats some kick ass hair! lol

I fully agree with BlueWolf587βs statement, Ronnie does look very much at peace here. To be perfectly honest I think you are being too hard on yourself with your whiskers. I think they are adorable and personally I see no flaw or misplacement on your nuzzle. Itβs taken me years just to perfect my whiskers and yet Iβve never uploaded a picture of my fursona depicted with having whiskers. Thus do not be despondent it will come with time, patience and perseverance.
Whiskers are an essential part of a felineβs existence. For instance with out them you would not be able to sense your way around small spaces. Besides whiskers make your fursona more adult like and matured.
I really love your use of color and texturing especially the texture appearance of the rainbow flag you are clasping in your paws. Excellent anatomical form and attention to detail of the hair and the fur!
He does look and peace and you could almost get a sense of freedom through his eyes and facial expression. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Lovely attempt and I canβt wait to see the last one out of the three.

Hmmm... I think you're right. Maybe if the right (our right) side of the whiskers were moved up and to the left slightly, it would look better.

Thank you very much! However, Ronnie is not quite my fursona (he is, and he isn't). Ronnie is the version that me that is 100% sure that he is gay and that he is able to find true love, in essence he is my "happiness" in it's purest form. Me, I have lots of doubts about myself, and succumb a lot to the influences and impression of others. So Ronnie is my "would-have-been-me" have things turn out differently.
