Awesome idea of portraying characters as ponies in certain moments Perspective and lines looks great, however I think shadows should be more visible and colors be more "sunset-like", bit darker, more intense. But anyway, very pretty and original artwork!

Well, actually, I watch it and read it. I'm on episode 61 of Naruto Shippuden, and I've just finished part 1 of the manga (I'll be moving on to Shippuden next).

By the way, I'm actually going to be cosplaying as Gaara this Summer, and I'll be posting pictures once the costume is done. My cousin (who is basically a professional photographer) agreed to take the pictures, and I'll be taking some of them on some sand dunes. Would you like to see the pictures once the costume is finished?

I'm pretty sure it will, too. My sister agreed to make the costume for me (and she's the best seamstress I know) if I paid for the material, and we're making the gourd together out of paper mache and plaster wrap. And according to her, once I have the costume on, I'll look quite a bit like Gaara (not just because of the costume, but because my face shape is very similar to his).

Yup. I already have an eyeliner pen (it won't smudge like an eyeliner pencil) and I'm pretty sure my sister has something worked out for the kanji symbol (though I don't remember what it is).
By the way, this is the wig I'm going to be using www.epiccosplay.com/spiky-laye⦠. It needs to be trimmed and spiked a bit, and there's a salon near me that agreed to do it for the price of a regular haircut.

I hate to say it, but it might be a while until it's finished. My sister has been really busy with commissions recently, so she hasn't had much time to work on it. And the gourd is coming along painfully slow, as we have to do one or two layers of paper mache and several layers of plaster wrap (and each layer takes two days to dry). So you might have to wait a while.
