Death Battle (Re:Zero/Honkai Impact 3rd)

Core Theme:

Clown-themed noblemen who despite being members of noble families would be treated as a burden by their families due to their sickly nature which led them to be in despair for most of their lives, until they fell in love with a influential white haired woman who would be the first person to be nice to them, afterwards they would dedicate themselves to this woman single-mindedly, especially after said woman died which they’ll go through any means necessary to bring them back, serving as a major antagonist and having manipulated many events in the series to try to achieve this

-Both were born into rich and noble family (House Apocalypse and Mathers family) whom, despite their noble status was seen as nuisances and burdens due to them being sickly. It was then that they would meet a white haired girl (Kallen and Echidna) who was the first person to "understand" them with them ending up falling in love with said girl. A interesting contrast could be Echidna is referred to as an "Evil witch" or "The Witch of Greed" while Kallen is referred to as the "Holy maid of the people".

-Kinda like a contrast but with Otto and Kallen Otto did like some messed up stuff which Kallen was angered by it and Echidna did some messed up stuff and Roswaal was like damn. (Totally not a filler thing to drag out the connections)

-After the white-haired girl fucking dies, both would become obsessed with the thought of reviving her even going as far as giving up their own life to revive her as to them she was considered the most important person to them. (Also both of them would still *kinda* live on with Kallen existing in a Stigma space and Echidna creating the thing)

-Both after the death of their respective loved ones would soon take over and become the leader of their respective family. They would also have some thought of clown thematics with Otto being referred to as "The Clown" and wearing a clown mask and Roswaal literally dressing up as a clown and such. They would also speak in a carefree and "uncomfortable" type way.

-They would both find ways to prolong their lifespans by transferring their consciousness to other objects/people (Otto with the Soulium clones and Roswaal with his sons)

-They would both be involved in a event which involved lots of people being killed (The attack on the Oni Village and the Second Eruption) which would lead them taking in someone with a extreme talent with combat (Ram and Durandal) at a young age to work for them (Durandal being a Valkeryie and Ram being a maid).

-They would also have little to no regards to human life with both of them killing their own allies if it meant that it would get them closer to their plan. However, they would still have compassion to certain people most notably a artificial human (Theresa and Beatrice).

-During a integral point of their plan, they would go to a town with close relations to the white-haired girl (Kolosten and The Sanctuary) with the protagonists trying to put a stop to it. They would also fight and be defeated by the person whom they've taken in. Contrast being Roswaal ultimately failed his plan while Otto succeeded.

-Both have access to an ancient library guided by an artificial being (Void Archives and Beatrice).
