It's just got that really heady(airy?) strained sound on the high notes, which if you don't see a problem with, is fine. I just think that other users pick up what the UTAU's creators missed. Please don't hit me
My UTAU had/has a lot of problems I overlook that other people point out to me and I can fix :0
Namine Ritsu has a much wider range than most UTAUs because he has high sets, low sets, etc. That's probably why he's popular and such a good UTAU to use

Both utaus here are triphones already. They are both VCV voicebanks.
Lucius was just released so he doesnt have a mutipitch but sora already has a mutipitch bank that can reach high notes powerfully (that would be his normal VCV bank). Besides, this is soras append mellow so ofc its going to be airy, what else do you expect.
btw, I think you think diphones = two pitches? Because diphones actually means CV while triphones means VCV, NOT tri-pitch

Lol Mai bad XD I think since the vocaloid terminology used by others.... I don't know! I read that VCV is "mistakenly labeled as triphones" and should just be referred to as VCV =O
