Okay, did the best I could with this (and I think it turned out 'all right'...)My first successful attempt at drawing Captain Bulge from Galaxy Railways! (Hope this looks okay, shutenkoma!)

my picture pales in comparision to yours. My picture of Bulge is all faded and not that good looking at all. truthfully the picture i drew sucks compared to yours. oh one question about harlock; are his eyes brown or are they silver? cause in te screenshots i have seen his eyes are brown but in your story you said that they are silver so which are they?

Well, usually, they ARE brown, lol (It's just that, when I started writing 'Nine Hundred Years..', the only new Harlock story I'd watched at the time, had been Harlock Saga! ^ ^;; )
Getting back to the Bulge pic...How long ago did you draw yours?

Hmm...then maybe you should try inking the next one, so the lines don't fade out on you (or has the first one been colored in yet? If not, then maybe that one could still be inked in! Believe me, the inking alone will make a world of difference! )

yeah i know, I have a picture of wataru up in the same style tat the one of bulge is in and it seems that Bulge is getting more "love" than wataru. oh yeah saw that picture of harlock you made and um yeah i couldn'e say anyting i was speechless at it

Maybe I'll get around to drawing a few more for GR (the only two characters I don't think I'll ever draw though, are Layla Destiny and that blond-haired crewmember...One I hate because she led Wataru seemingly to his death, and the other because he's such a....well, you know)

Oh, you mean Bruce? I lOOoooOve Bruce, he didn't turn out so bad at the end of the season! .... After he died that is. D:< Hrmm, I don't really mind about Layla, she's just the weepy lady that doesn't do much. X3

I guess early on in the series, Bruce rubbed me the wrong way...And Layla Destiny I just hated because she killed off the best-looking and most-interesting member of the cast (in my honest opinion, lol).
(It must also be that Wataru had had the Harlock look and attitude, that I truly despised Layla for killing him off like that....)

Really now? But I do agree with you on the best looking/interesting part. <3 Wataru I don't think Layla really killed him, but as she said, 'escorted' him to his ..... death.
I always say, just give Wataru a scar, an eyepatch, angry eyebrows and a pirate suit, and you've got Harlock! XD

I was actually debating whether or not to draw another 'Backstage' pic, but this time have it where Wataru's wearing Harlock's red uniform from 'Arcadia of My Youth', and have Harlock end up with Wataru's Sirius Platoon uniform!
(Wouldn't THAT be an interesting switch? Lol)

I'd put him in there too, if I had a few more good shots of him to work from (as it is, it's going to be interesting to try and draw Wataru and Kanna, since good guides of them are hard to come by....And I can no longer make my own....)

I was introduced to the Leijiverse through Galaxy Railways, and then to Harlcok from the Endless Odyssey, Outside Legend anime, the newer one.

There was originally a TV series that had followed the movie called 'Endless Road SSX ' (and the comic books produced by Eternity Press also followed Arcadia of My Youth, in much the same way...)
When 'Arcadia' was re-released on DVD a few years back, it took all I had not to cry tears of joy (because my VHS player was beginning to wear out, and I was afraid that the tapes and VCRs would soon become obsolete...hence making it impossible for me to watch the movie anymore...)
I was also extremely fortunate to have found a full set of the ani-manga for the movie about a year or so ago, as well! (The site I'd gotten them from even had GE 999 and Queen Millenia ani-manga!) They're in Japanese, but at least it proves that they exist!
