Another Shikamaru/Ino piece. This time one of Shikamaru making the first move--or at least trying to. I tried to capture a certain nervous anticipation between the two despite and then just from a new angle. I actually like art pieces where you don't see the eyes of the subject. It puts focus on other features and body language while leaving a certain ambiguity to the true feelings portrayed. It's open to some interpretation, to the viewer's own perspective, and I like that.

That being said, I like this piece as well. I big shout-out to my friend Ilana for turning it into a fabulous LJ icon when I felt sure it couldn't be done.
