Description Why then, after you left me, I became not myself?

That's not me, surely not me.

Inspired by this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjQH4Z…

Ahhh Voltron s6 just broke up my heart, I still love Lotor, call me crazy, whatever, I find his actions fair even if it weren't in the "best way" he truly wanted to save the alteans, not all the good ways to do thing will be in a safe way, you will need to sacrifice things, he could be have an anti-hero arc, and be super interesting, but instead they gave him a crazy bad boy arc, the galras doesn't like him. To me the Paladins and Allura were irational, even Allura notice that later and wanted to help him but was too late, Lotor just was corrupted by the quintessence in the ship, and in his voltron, also being inside that dimension, and now is probably dead.

I'm kind of sad by this, he is my favorite character, Lotor deserved better.

Despite being sad about the writing he got in s6, I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed by that (honestly he's the only reason I started watching Voltron). He deserved better. I really do hope he gets out of the Rift and a redemption arc. His actions weren't the best, but he really did save Altean's culture and people. As for the experiment, I still believe they're partially due to his Galra education. He can be as intelligent and cultured as much as he wants, but hundreds of years of education in the Galra way seem difficult to just shug off. Then the Quintessence did the resxt of the work towards his madness at the end of s6. I'm voting for a split of his body between the mad part corrupted by the Quintessence and his nice self we clearly saw (there's no way that he could've faked it all).

So let's cheer for him!

I finished watching the show and I like Lotor, but his actions are not justifiable. I agree his intentions were good, but his actions though were not. It's not right what he did to Alteans to understand quintessence. The experimentation reminds me of other experimentations like Unit 731. For clarification Unit 731 was a Japanse facility in Manchuria during World War 2. The purpose of Unit 731 was to study the harmful effects of pathogens on the human body. Not saying that was Lotor's exact goal. His goal was to understand quintessence. I'm simply saying, the means Lotor took to understand quintessence is not morally just as the Japanese were not morally just. Look I would really like to see him come back. His story arc to me is not yet done, as there is still his mother Honerva/Haggar and he's still alive in the quintessence dimension. However, his actions are not morally just. By the way nice art piece.

His actions doesn't need to be moral to be right, remenber that many of those experimentations bring us the cure of many illness, we exactly doesn't know what Lotor wanted to reach exactly, and I think the only bad thing he did is not being complety honest, we don't know if that is really necessary.

There are a lot of examples in real world, I don't think Lotor is good at all, he's an anti-hero and a grey character (bad written his season but I consider him like it).

Yeah I hope he is still alive, there is still an opportunity to him, he deserved better. Ty

Moral and right are of the same synonyms, there in the same category. Another thing much of these experimentations the likes of Unit 731 were too much. They boiled down to essentially seeing how much trauma the body can take by hitting it with a car. Finally, it's not a matter of whether his actions needed to be right it's the fact they're not. You yourself said I don't think he's a good guy. That's right he isn't. The reason they call it the anti-hero is that anti-hero does whatever it takes. Following that maxim of "The ends justify the means." The issue here is what sort of ends because before the result anything goes. Good conversation

I love this sooo much, and I also agree with everything you said in the Desc. I honestly got really irritated with the story, but continued watching it anyway XD
