-Latif never seems to stop smiling.It's like a mask he wears, it's sometimes
hard to tell what he's thinking. When he can't keep the facade up
anymore he covers his mouth with his hand.

-Another thing about him is he's greedy. Something he inherited from his parents was his love
of money. Even if he has enough to live without working, he'd still
want to make more. Nothing really seems to satisfy him, after a while
he'll only want more or something better.

-Calm and collected, he's not panicky under pressure, thinking clearly even when
aggravated.Composed 90% of the time it's very rare that he'll show his

- When pissed off at someone he won't be up front with them. He'll find
someway to get them when they wouldn't expected.He'll be polite and act
as if he wasn't mad but his conversations with them will be short
phrases. He'll also show a lot of disinterest in the person mostly just
because he wants to get away before he hits them.

-Despite being very social and having to met many new people, he'd rather listen than
talk. He doesn't feel like his opinion would contribute anything so he'd
rather be quiet and pay attention to the other person.

-He doesn't feel shame or guilt very often. Seeing another person's embarrassed
or ashamed face is one of the few things that entertain him and he doesn't really
care what he has to do to get it. Also trying to guilt him rarely works, his father taught
him never to give in to puppy-dog eyes or a sob story. He'll likely brush you off and
continue with his day if you try.

When Latif was born his Chromatism was obvious, his hair was green and his eyes as well. While his father was happy to have a son, he was also worried. He knew that people with Chromatism were discriminated and hated. His job as Egypt's ambassador to France added to his worry, feeling like that would make Latif a bigger target.For the first few years of his life, Laatif wasn't allowed to leave his home. The only person he saw regularly was his mother until he was old enough for schooling. His mother also dyed his hair brown to try and hide his condition but contacts were too difficult for him to put on. He used the excuse that his eyes come from a distant relative.

Along with the help of tutors, his father also mentored him. He expected his son to follow in his footsteps. He was extremely strict with his son's studies, making sure his grades were the top in his class. He would bring home guests and discussed certain topics with them while Latif watched.He figured out what his father did when he argued, his gestures, eye contact, volume. It all worked towards convincing the others.He learned from watching how to be confident and convincing when talking to others.

During big parties that his family loved to host, it was his mother's time to shine. She seemed to fly all around the room, chatting with one group then another.Her smile was perfect, it seemed to draw people to her.His mother also new a few tricks like playing the glass harp. When he was still little, he would sit off to the side and watch her. It was like watching a performer to him.Anytime he was free, which was rare, he would spend time with her, learning her tricks and ways to keep others entertained.

In his early teens, Latif started to experiment with his powers. At first he wasn't aware that he had them, but after a few accidents he figured out what they were. After that he continued to practice it, on his classmates, house guests, anyone. He started to influence them to do simple things, buy him lunch, do his homework, things like that. Later on he got bored of it and wanted more of a challenge. He made them do ridiculous things or get into fights. Then he would watch them come to their senses and watch the embarrassment and regret wash over their face. Again his father began to worry, his son wasn't even trying to hide his powers anymore. He scolded him and yelled trying to get Latif to stop what he was doing. After many failed attempted, he gave up and sent him and his mother away to Chromatica so he would be safe. Latif was his only son and he wasn't going to let him get hurt over his recklessness At first he hated the idea of having to move, he stared staying out late and coming back before dawn. His mother didn't have the heart to stop him and convinced herself he was just in the rebellious stage.

After wandering the streets many times he found his way to a casino. He'd never seen gambling before, it truly fascinated him how all the people in there looked somewhat hopeful.Then he'd watch them lose it all, 'What a beautiful expression' he thought, it was like they've given up. After watching a few games, he decided to play as well. Losing a lot at first, he didn't really care since it was his father's money. He got the hang of it with the help of his powers of course. He wasn't careful enough to keep it hidden and the casino found out how he was winning so much. The bodyguards took him to the back and confronted him. He realized that they could kill him right there and no one would know--so he proposed a deal. He'd keep his life and use his skill to bring new customers to the casino.

Latif's role is mainly to bring new customers to the casino, lure them in,
play a few games with them. Make sure they get hooked to it. He lets them win the first
couple times to build up their confidence. Then he'd use his power to make them slip up
and lose. He's also good for getting dirt on others.He's got connections in many places from
years of being out on the town.

O U T S I D E - O F - T H E - M A F I A
Because of his family's wealth, Latif doesn't really need a job. But in his free time, he runs
a small bar. It's not big but a very classy and elegant place still. Because he's only
there when he feels like it, the bar has no set schedule. He's a horrible business owner i swea r

Latif's main power is to persuade someone through eye contact. The longer he looks into their eyes
the stronger his persuasion is. He then gives a 'suggestion' to them to do something.
However using this power extensively causes a sharp pain in his head, more specifically
around his eyes. The target of it usually remember the event afterwards as well.The
duration of his powers only lasts a few hours and the longer it goes on, the more likely the
target will snap out of it on their own.

S U B
He carries around a pistol with him for protection. His aim is surprisingly accurate--but only
with his left arm. His right arm is absolutely useless when it comes to shooting.

□ He has a funny accent you can't really tell what it is because its a mix of a french and arabic accent.
