Description     Please note that this profile for World of WarCraft will undergo changes.

Please also note that the following words are scientific and therefore can be a mouthful for readers.

I named this creature the "Triaffe" because of its possession of 3 horns on the skull. It is also named because it may resemble a deer having experienced alien abduction and transformation, but my opinion for its closest living relatives are even-toed ungulates like the African Giraffe and the Okapi. If you are wondering why I gave it an elongated canine tooth for the portrait, the creatures actually had pruning canines like this one (albeit smaller, in real-life). In the Animal World, Chinese Marsh Deer would share these canines as a selected trait.
This ancient even-toed ungulate mammal is based off of Synthetoceras tricornatus, which was the last of the protocerid artiodactyls and also the largest. As Synthetoceras was endemic in North America during the Late Miocene Epoch, the Triaffe plays a role as the "deer" in the Maisara Hills grasslands, shrublands, and forested areas.

Both Forest Trolls and Woodland Elves hold the creature as a sign of spirit and mystery. In fact, whether the Triaffe would become the Woodland Elves' racial mount is now under debate, due to its lack of "Cannon Bones" Metacarpals in the limbs, which I found ironic in many sources.

For references, look up Synthetoceras on your preferred search engine.

P.S. If you look at the hair patterns carefully, I gave it a beard on the back part of the mandible. I also stylized its fur pattern and its eyes, based-on the Vale Deer from Skyrim's Dawnguard Edition to make it look cooler.
