Well, it's just a small mistake, nothing major in any way :3 It's the sentence "I advice you to return to the lake, if you want to see the spirit."
Advice is a noun, used to denote to someone. "My advice", "his advice", "let me give you some advice".
You were actually after the verb "Advise". Verbs, simply put, are used to encode tense, aspect, mood and voice. But they also have tenses to indicate something is being carried out in a present tense, to indicate that something had been carried out in a past tense, and to indicate that something will be carried out in a future tense.
Because Greyscale was encoding his voice to the others and using the word in a future tense, the sentence is to be reformed to this: "I advise you to return to the lake if you want to see the spirit"
just thought I'd give you a little info on verbs for future reference :3 I hope this helps ^^

They speak only their language, so they don't understand the others plus they're quite hostile towards anyone who disturbs them. That's the reason.
