It's her awesome character Itzal <3 He's a restless soul who's mentally unbalanced and loves to drive everyone insane by playing as their shadows.
Totally badass
Here he sort of materializes from shadows, that's why his membranes are kind of flaming/whatever else you can call it.
The white thing from his mouth is actually a mist/fog and it comes out constantly.
Yup.
I like how it turned out ;A;

My shadow dragons have the same ability. Its funny when Mozart pops out of nowhere from a shadow and scares Dughall silly though she doesn't mean to scare him she just forgets that not all dragons can sense other dragons in shadows. Mozart is my shadow dragoness and Dughall is her future mate (betrothed)

I wasn't expecting it be a complete shadow dragon... I got a vibe of a being who fell from grace and along his path of repentance is stuck...
But very well done either way.

Your vision was right. He is exactly stuck in this world ( a restless soul, not a living dragon) and cannot find peace in afterlife. It's just the way he entertains himself, by playing as someone's shadow, so I drew him materializing from a shadow to a "normal" dragon form.
