good technique... ever notice how he looks exactly like John Fogerty's twin doppelganger? Fogerty is Gemini with Capricorn moon, and Ford is double Cancer (sun & moon): Gemini cusps on Cancer, and Capricorn is opposite Cancer.

LOL, That's hilarious. Even my mom whose a huge fan of Harrison Ford, busted up laughing. Good pic, it's certainly put a smile on my face.

Really well done, didn't really know acrylics could do that... Curious how you did the background?

Thanks- Mike will work. Hairy sticks or do you throw some airbrush in to? Again this is very well done either way... I just like to know- itva stands for i teach visual art and I like to know as much as possible.

Hi Mike.
It's all applied with brushes - no airbrushes.
I usually use prolene brushes by Pro Arte.Don't know if they have them where you are.
They have the same 'action' as any animal hair but are made to withstand more use. I use both fine point and chisel edged brushes. Whatever will give me the effect I want!
The acrylic paint is regular tube mix. No fancy variations! either Winsor & Newton or Daler Rowney. I don't thin it or use any specialist medium. Just clean tap water does it. If you're well practised with acrylic you don't have to use flow improver, etc.
Sometimes I varnish the finished canvas board but not usually.
Good luck!
