1. What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?

It was fairly easy to understand, what they wanted was clearly stated. The only thing is they left it very open, so I hope I came up with what they were going for! For the next time, maybe add some more details like a specific animal or creature? That might make the thinking process a little bit easier, because I had a hard time narrowing down what exactly I was going to draw.

2. Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

Okee dokee, so, here's my thought process for this. They wanted a dragon killer, so I thought "Well, dragons are kinda reptiles, like snakes. What eats snakes? Birds, right? Yeah lets make it a bird." So I made it have bird-features, so the lizard/reptile-consumption would make sense. NEXT, I figured that dragons are usually always seen in the mountains or rocky areas, so I thought that my creature would need some help and muscle with the rock climbing. I gave it strong limbs with large claws to hook onto rocks so it can jump/fly/glide from cliff to cliff. I added a large, fluffy tail for balance, just like what snow leopards have in the Himalayan mountains! FINALLY, the prompt specifically mentioned bright colors, and to avoid dull colors, and included a pic of a Macaw as a reference for a palette. Now, normally, I don't work with bright colors and tend to stick to natural, dull colors. So this was different. I used the eye dropper tool to pick specific colors from the macaw pic, and used those. I used a spotted pelt from a jaguar, which is another animal found in South America. So there you have it.

Sharp vision to spot prey from all angles in the mountains
Strong muscles for rock climbing
Large wings for flight
Wings are coated with a waxy substance that protects against heat and flame (dragon attacks)
Long, thick tail provides balance

As you can see, I spent a long time thinking about this. I was up at 4 AM laying in bed just going over some of the biology of this animal. It was kinda fun
