"You got.. What." Jake snarled as Austin reluctantly shared the news. On the way were two rouge Speranza Warmbloods, straight from a wild herd. He was told one of them was super wild, and the mare was slightly calmer. Austin did a nervous chuckle and tried to grin at Jake, scratching his head.
"Two Speranza Warmbloods!" He replied, putting his hands in the air. "They were gorgeous and very well put together, I couldn't help it."
"Wolf and Imperial are enough to worry about. Not to mention the hundreds of other horses that need work too." Jake said, raising his voice. He was tired of all the horses Jake was suddenly getting, he was stressed already. "You know how badly treated that new pegasus you got is? She's been picked on like three times already."
"You just wait." Austin said, relieved to hear a truck and trailer pulling up. "Here they are now." He smirked and jogged out to meet the truck. The man driving cautiously opened the gate, setting off a frenzy for the stallion, who slammed his body into the front of the trailer, trying desperately to get as far away as possible. The mare just looked up slightly, seeming defeated. Noticing her expression, Austin slumped a little, but then straightened, determined to change the both of them. He slowly walked into the trailer, soothing the wild horses. The stallion backed away quickly, the mare just eyeing him. He grabbed the lead of the mare, leading her to Jake, who led her away. Realizing his friend was gone, the stallion kicked at the trailer, frustrated. Austin quickly grabbed the end of his lead, slowly going toward the top. The Warmblood snorted, stamping his feet nervously. Austin clicked to him and softly pulled at his halter, to which the stallion came a few steps, then backed away, making little progress. Austin sighed. This was going to be a long battle.
