Well, they are useful in self defense if someone wants to break into your home (of course, that depends if Russia allows people to own guns)

Russia doesn't allow people to owe guns... because many people would like to use them for robberies and kills... Also there are many people of "hot blood" in my country like georgians... they try to kill their offender first then ask questions...
