The shoulder would be a good place! Yeah I know what you mean about the snail maze like designs, I tried it but I thought it might be too detailed for a tattoo.
I'm sure I'll get round to using them someday! :{D>

I had previously done a sketch of the mask part with the birds tail coming out of the mouth, then I just reworked it for a tattoo and added some pieces to make it fit a circle.
