I really like drawing and painting Davy Jones. This is the 4th piece he's in! My ediction of Pirates of the Caribbean is only getting greater!I love to do his details his expression, it's just brilliant.
This took me about 8 hours to paint. Its done with aqaurellics and idian ink.
I really like his creapy Crabclaw!
When I was small I always catched crabs on the seaside (I still do

This one is simply gorgeously made. I love the colours, which are complimentary and do a great contrast there. And the face is very well done. However, you could be a little more critical as to get the wet edge of the eye in there

the subtlty of tones in this works really well, the colour combonations are pretty perfect for the subject matter. the quality of live, especially at the top of the piece, in his hat is reminicent of where the character has come from, the sea...the hat reminds me of barnicles and seaweed ^^. there is a real intensity in his eyes, a real feel of emotion has been conveyed really well.
