Description
When night is at his end, a dark creature apears. Glancing at you from the distance. His bright red markings tells you he´s from acient times. When people still believed that these creatures lived. The people worshiped them and treat them as gods. After a few seconds of eyecontact, the creature suddenly dissapears.This is drawn in 7 hours with Photoshop CS3.
I´m glad how this came out. I can draw alot faster than I did a few months ago. And the results are even better. I changed a few tiny things on Mirnah. He misses the red rings around his legs. I didn´t fit in this composition.

Love the shadowy effect nd the coloration also the unique appendage on his tail end. Very cool nd his horns give him this adorably devilish air to him! Very lovely dragon!

When you draw realistic stuff, do you draw black lineart then color it, or do you just draw the outlines with the main color?

n1 I like using painter but i definitely need to get a hold of cs3

I still use painter, but Cs3 has more effects and filters.But i like painting with both.

thats what i was planning on doing P: my mom is a digital artist and using painter as her usual tool but she does a lot of stuff in photoshop and illustrator. Sad thing is(and my point) she won't share any tips with me so i have to figure everything out on my own D: I JUST figured out how to use smeary oils properly 2 months ago apx.
